We bought this new around 2000 or 2001 to heat an addition we were building on our home. This project was complete within a year or less and this was then retired to the storage shed at that time since the completed addition is now heated with our furnace.

It looks and works perfectly. It includes the original owners manual and both the instruction plates remain affixed to the heater. Both original screws meant to fasten the heater securely to the floor are still in their spots as is the thermostat wire. The original shut-off valve is included and affixed along with a flare connection for your hose or flex line or flared copper connection. This heater can be wall mounted but I DO NOT HAVE THAT ACCESSORY BRACKET SO ONE IS NOT INCLUDED. Please consider this a freestanding floor model space heater or find a wall mount bracket on the secondary market yourself.

Basically, you'll need to provide a minimum of 2 of clearance above, behind, and to the left and right of the heater. The forced air heat blows out the front louvers which is why you need 30 of unobstructed space in front of the unit. For added safety, this unit is protected by an overheat switch, flame failure device, oxygen depletion safety switch, and a tilt switch.

The electrical circuits are fused and there is a power failure device that closes the gas valve if power is lost. There are lots of safety devices built into this heater however a thorough reading of the owners manual added to some common sense is advised before use. It's a small unit and doesn't require much area. Weighs just under 15 pounds. If and when an issue develops with this model, whether due to the failure of some component or some temporary condition, the LED digital display on top of the heater will display an error code to make troubleshooting easy.
